Movie Review:
Breakfast at Tiffany's
First of all, this movie is divine, it's probably one of the best movies of the 1960's. Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard acting was simply stunning in my book. But the Golightly's constant drinking and smoking aren't very good messages towards younger viewers. Her cigarette holder is an unmistakable attribute, but still, basically in every scene she's smoking. Not a good decision, Holly. Holly Golightly's outfits are stunning. hair and all, and Hepburn brings a sort of spunk into every scene she's in. Mr. Yunioshi is a VERY strong cultural stereotype, he's hilarious, but still. Even though it was 1961, and years prior America was in The Korean War, but for children in this era, it's not okay to think that kind of portrayal of Asians is alright. The end *Spoiler Alert*, when Holly let Cat run amuck the streets, I cried. Partying, heartbreak, and Audrey Hepburn, a good movie indeed. 4.5.
